New churches bring fresh hope to communities, creating spaces where people can encounter God’s love, find belonging, and grow in faith. Your support helps equip leaders, strengthen new congregations, and plant seeds that will flourish into vibrant, life‑giving ministries. Together, we’re building places where the Gospel can take root and transform lives.
Iglesia Biblica Redencion
The Church in Belize is “Iglesia Biblica Redencion” and it is a small but growing church. A lot of the students from nearby King’s College High School help at the church. It was started by Pedro Reyes when he realized a need for a church in this area of Belize. Here there is an opportunity for children, youth, men, women, and families, to learn, grow spiritually and to know and Glorify God. The church is located in a rural area of Belize and draws people from quite a distance. Pedro has an older school bus, donated by Canadians that he drives around the countryside bringing people to church. As well as helping the people spiritually, the church helps struggling people in the community physically with their food and clothing needs. Because this church is in a poorer area of the country, funding is an ongoing problem. Donations to this exciting new church will go toward expanding the physical building which can be seen in the photo gallery and expanding services to the community in need.
My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge
Pastor Bernard Sikabbenu, whose passion has always been to evangelize and disciple, realized that there was a need for training and equipping Christian pastors and church leaders in the rural areas of Zambia. This passion gave birth to the vision of a training centre in the Sinazongwe District, Southern Province of Zambia.
In 2013, Ps Bernard, Hugo and Salomie Du Toit discussed the need for and importance of training and equipping church leaders. They realized that most leaders and future pastors were too far away from formal training centres and did not have the funds to attend training. They decided to create the Luzibo Christian Training Centre to address the problem. As there were very few funds available, this was to be a faith-based, God-led project completely based on donations.
April 2014 saw the first registration of 10 students. Since that small beginning, 83 present and future church leaders have graduated from the school.
The curriculum was compiled by Rev Dick Christensen and includes 29 subjects. The course is presented part-time over a two-year period. Graduation takes place in April when the students receive their certificates and are commissioned through prayer to serve in God’s ministry.
Your donation will enable the school to continue to train and equip Christian leaders and provide support for the teachers as they disciple the students to go into the world and spread the gospel.
